Dining Reservations Open Today for Walt Disney World's Annual Tradition of the Candlelight Processional

Walt Disney World's Candlelight Processional is a popular show which includes the re-telling of the Christmas Story by a celebrity narrator, who is accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra, and a choir which is composed of Disney cast members and guest choirs from around the country. They enter in a processional holding candles (no real fire is used) and form the shape of a Christmas Tree behind the narrator as they sing. It is a tradition started by Walt in Disneyland and has been continued at the Walt Disney World Resort since Epcot's opening.

The dinners include appetizer, entrée, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage or 1 full buffet from the restaurant's menu

Lobster, when available, is not included as part of the Candlelight Dining package.

All Guests participating in the dining event will be given badges for entry to their designated show and seated in priority viewing areas. Additionally, with that same badge they will have access to a priority viewing (standing) area for Illuminations at 9:30pm on the same night.

Seating for the shows are available without these packages and are first come – first serve. Historically lining up at least one hour in advance is required to insure you are able to get seating.

All Candlelight Processional Packages, lunch and dinner, are 2 credits when paid as part of the Disney Dining Plan

Free Disney Dining Fall 2013 - Disney Visa Card Offer

                                2013 Fall Disney Free Dining for Disney VISA Cardholders

Walt Disney World has announced a new round of the Disney Free Dining discount, this time for Disney VISA cardholders only for the travel dates listed below. Not all nights are included however, you must check in on one of the following available dates:

September 2 through September 25, 2013

Please note this offer is currently only available to Disney VISA cardholders. A $200 deposit per room must be paid with your Disney VISA at the time of booking. This offer will be made available for all guests starting on May 9, 2013.

To qualify for the free dining offer, your must check in during one of the available dates above. Your stay can extend beyond the available dates and you will still receive the free dining for your entire stay. Availability is extremely limited, and not all resorts may be available. You cannot check in before an available date and receive the discount, it is all or nothing, based on the day you check in.

Guests staying at a Disney World Value resort will receive the Quick Service Dining Plan for free. Guests will be able to upgrade to either the Disney Plus Dining plan or the Disney Deluxe Dining plan by paying the price difference between the included plan and the plan of their choice. The Walt Disney World value resorts include the All-Star Movies, Music (no suites) and Sports, Pop Century and Art of Animation (currently excluded from offer).

Guests staying at a Disney World Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa resort will receive the Disney Dining Plan included for free. There are a lot of rumors surrounding enhancements at Disney's Polynesian Resort. These enhancements are cosmetic and not full blown remodels.
